The MZ Shop

Opening for business on 1st May 2012

The MZ Shop Ltd has been set up by Phil Speakman and his partner Amanda, in order to supply MZ and Simson parts to the UK. We will open for business on the 1st May 2012 and we thought we’d better drop you a line so that you know what our plans are:

From the beginning of April 2012, we shall start the herculean task of transferring all of the existing MZ parts stock from Fred Rogers’s Spares & Repairs company, to our new warehouse facilities. During this period we’ll catalogue all of the parts before we add them into our brand new database linked website: www.theMZshop.co.uk

With the aid of this new technology, we hope to build on the fantastic work Fred has already done in keeping MZ and Simson motorcycles firmly where they belong. On the road!

To assist you in finding the part you need. We’ve designed our website around a similar format to the original MZ parts manuals, allowing you to select the model of your machine(s) and from there locate the components you require from the subsequent clearly laid out web pages. Our sophisticated search facility also allows you to locate an individual component from within our range of 6000+ stock components; either by its part number or from its description.

Our postage & packaging  fees are calculated automatically, based on the total weight of the components in your shopping basket and your chosen delivery address. The costs are shown up-front before you make your purchase and are included in the total price, so you can be confident that when you purchase from us, there will be no hidden extras.

Once you’ve placed all the components you need into your shopping basket, you may proceed to our checkout area where you can pay for your purchases by choosing using any one of the following secure payment options:

1.     Secure online payment via your PayPal account.

2.     If you don’t have a PayPal account, that’s not a problem, as you can still pay securely through PayPal using your credit/debit card as a guest customer.

3.       Give us a call and pay over the phone using your debit/credit card

And that’s it. As soon as we’ve received your order and payment, we’ll start processing your parts order. From the initial purchase, through to final despatch, you will receive an automated email keeping you up to date with our progress at every stage of the process.

Of course, we appreciate that not everyone in the MZ world is up to speed with online technology, so we will still be available via the telephone between the hours of 10:00 and 15:30hrs on weekdays. Unless of course we are out of the office, shipping orders to our customers, in which case, please leave your name, number and a brief message on our answering machine and we’ll call you back when we can: 0151 493 1390

In the meantime, please feel free to browse our website and/or set up a user account using the secure username and password of your choice. From there you can access your own personalised secure area, where you can add and save multiple shipping addresses and track the progress of your orders.

If you haven’t already done so, why not sign up to our newsletter service too? We certainly shan’t be bombarding your email address with spam on a daily basis, just occasionally sending out discreet newsletters such as this one, as and when we think interesting events or changes may be taking place.

Nobody is more aware than us, that picking up from where Fred Rogers left off is not going to be easy. But with the hard work we’ve already put in and with the technological assistance of our new website, we hope to be able to provide an excellent new MZ & Simson parts service for all of our customers.

We hope you will enjoy shopping with The MZ Shop Ltd and we shall look forward to your custom from the 1st May 2012.

Kind regards

Phil & Amanda
